ACS (ENVR) – SETAC Exchange Travel Award
The ACS Division of Environmental Chemistry (ENVR) and the Society of Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry, North America (SETAC) have developed a student exchange program to promote networking and to expand professional and scientific interactions of student members in both organizations. As part of this program, ENVR will award one travel grant annually in the amount of $1000 to allow a graduate student member to attend the next annual meeting of SETAC North America in November. The award recipient will be chosen from graduate student presenters in the ENVR program at each Spring ACS National Meeting. The award will be based on the quality of the submitted abstract and the presentation, as judged by the award committee. Applicants should also arrange for a letter of support to be sent from their advisor stating that the student is progressing toward a graduate degree. Recommended timeframe for application is in late February. Contact: George Cobb, george_cobb@baylor.edu.
